In Aladdin’s defense he didn’t marry her as the movie ended (when she was 16), they just fell in love. They waited 2 movies AND a TV show worth of adventures so I’m guesstimating Jasmine was probably 18ish when they actually got married. 

In Aladdin, they said that she had to choose a man by her 18th birthday, which was in three days. She turned 18 around the end of the movie~

Jasmine was 16 in the movie and it was by her 16th Birthday, Aladdin is the one who is 18 in the movie
